BCU Lifeguards are a discipline of the BCU that specialise in lifeguarding and water safety using canoes and kayaks. The BCU Lifeguards offer qualifications and enhanced training for paddlers interested in lifeguarding as well as individuals that are members of clubs.
The awards on offer vary considerably from ones based on basic canoe rescue skills to advanced lifeguarding and first aid.
